内容摘要：This paper studies social learning in finite groups when agents neglect finitude and reason as if they were embedded in an infinite society. The paper develops a repeated social-learning model in which individuals update beliefs using private signals and others' past actions, compares rational learning in finite groups with finitude-neglect learning, and shows that this behavioral simplification may generate excessive reliance on social observations, herding, and persistent wrong consensus. It also characterizes mechanisms behind incorrect aggregation, contrasts behavioral and rational learning, and explores how memory limits and signal heterogeneity affect long-run outcomes.
主讲人介绍:薛志鹏，东华大学旭日工商管理学院研究助理教授，香港大学经济学博士。主要研究领域为微观经济理论、行为经济学与信息经济学。目前正尝试探索人工智能与社会经济行为的交叉领域，重点关注大模型技术及其微调应用中的经济学效应，探究人工智能如何重塑群体行为与社会分割，及其对劳动力市场与知识传播结构的影响。
